Uchisar Castle

Our Cappadocia Red Tour begins with a visit to Uchisar Castle, one of the most iconic landmarks and highest viewpoints in the region. Carved into the natural rock formation, the castle has played an important role in Cappadocia's history. From the surrounding viewpoint, you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the valleys, fairy chimneys and unique rock formations. It is also an excellent opportunity to take unforgettable photographs of Cappadocia's extraordinary landscape.

Zelve Open Air Museum

Our next stop is the fascinating Zelve Open Air Museum, one of Cappadocia's most important historical sites. This ancient cave settlement features rock-carved houses, churches, monasteries, tunnels and other structures that reveal how people lived in Cappadocia centuries ago. As you explore the area, your guide will explain the history, culture and daily life of the communities that once inhabited these caves.

Avanos

We continue our journey to Avanos, a charming town located along the Kızılırmak River, Turkey's longest river. Avanos is particularly famous for its traditional pottery and handicrafts, a tradition that has been passed down through generations. Enjoy some free time to explore the town and discover its unique local atmosphere before continuing to the next stop.

Love Valley

Our tour continues with a visit to the spectacular Love Valley, famous for its tall, distinctive fairy chimneys and breathtaking natural scenery. The valley offers one of the most recognizable landscapes in Cappadocia and is an excellent location for photography. Your guide will explain how volcanic activity and millions of years of erosion created these remarkable rock formations.

Lunch

After exploring the morning's highlights, we take a lunch break at a local restaurant. Enjoy a selection of traditional Turkish and regional dishes while taking some time to relax and recharge before continuing the afternoon tour.

Pasabag (Monks Valley)

In the afternoon, we visit Pasabag, also known as Monks Valley, one of the most famous fairy chimney areas in Cappadocia. The valley is renowned for its extraordinary multi-headed fairy chimneys, which were formed through natural erosion. The area also has a fascinating religious history, as some of the rock formations were once used by Christian hermits seeking solitude.

Devrent Valley (Imagination Valley)

Our next destination is Devrent Valley, also known as Imagination Valley. Unlike some other valleys in Cappadocia, Devrent is not primarily known for cave dwellings or churches. Instead, it is famous for its unusual rock formations that naturally resemble animals, people and other figures. Use your imagination as you discover shapes such as the famous camel-shaped rock formation.

Avanos Pottery Demonstration

We return to Avanos for a traditional pottery demonstration, where you will discover one of the region's oldest and most important handicrafts. Local artisans demonstrate how clay from the Kızılırmak River is shaped using traditional pottery wheels and techniques. You will have the opportunity to watch the entire process and learn about the history of pottery-making in Avanos. Depending on the workshop, guests may also have the chance to try making their own pottery.

Return to the Hotel

After a full day discovering Cappadocia's historical landmarks, spectacular valleys, traditional crafts and unique geological formations, we conclude our Cappadocia Red Tour. Our vehicle will transfer you back to your hotel, where you can relax after an unforgettable day exploring the highlights of Cappadocia.
